Dr Lani Tiong (Osteopath)

B Health Sc (Comp Med) BAppSc (Osteo)

Registered Osteopath

Lani studied osteopathy at RMIT University, completing her double degree in Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). She is a passionate, enthusiastic and caring Osteopath who loves treating patients of all age groups.

Coming from a sporting background of over ten years in athletics, Lani has always been interested in the human body and the incredible ways in which it allows us to move. From a young age she absorbed all things anatomy and when her own knee issues arose, she sought out osteopathic treatment. Inspired by the way manual therapy helped her to continue doing the activities she enjoyed, Lani decided she wanted to assist others in getting back to their passions.

Lani believes that each individual is unique and she is willing to work with each and every one of her patients on a treatment and management plan tailored to their specific needs. She enjoys incorporating a range of techniques into her treatment, including both direct and indirect techniques, paired with exercise rehabilitation or chronic pain management strategies to achieve the best outcome in her patients.

Outside of work, Lani enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, cycling and skiing when she can get to the slopes. An avid tea enthusiast and dog lover, she always loves time indoors with her family, friends and dogs.

Dr Akeisha Sandhu (Osteopath)

Dr. Akeisha Sandhu is a fully qualified and registered Osteopath and a member of Osteopathy Australia and Sports Medicine Australia. She graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy).

Akeisha takes a holistic approach to health, believing that it is multidimensional. She strives to help her patients improve their quality of life and everyday function by providing individualized and tailored consultations and treatment approaches.

Akeisha's interest in Osteopathy stems from her love of understanding human anatomy and physiology and the benefits of exercise for both the mind and body.

In addition to her work as an Osteopath, Akeisha is an elite athlete and serves as the Captain of South Melbourne Football Club. She is currently training with Western United Football Club and has also been a part of the young Matildas team. Akeisha is passionate about achieving optimal physical health and performance, whether for sports or everyday living, and is a strong advocate for health and wellbeing.

Outside of her work and athletic pursuits, Akeisha enjoys spending time with her English Staffy, engaging in outdoor activities, and dining out with friends and family.

Dr Shan Pineda (Osteopath)

BSc (Health Sc) BAppSc (Osteo)

Registered Osteopath

Shan completed a double degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University, graduating with distinctions. Alongside his academic accomplishments, he has acquired additional qualifications in dry needling and myofascial cupping.

Shan was originally drawn to a career in Osteopathy due to his interest in the human body and its associated functions, along with a passion for helping others. He is a big advocate of using rehab exercises to complement the treatment, with the goal of preventing re-injury and getting his patients back to moving pain-free as quickly as possible. Shan is also a strong believer in patient education and works to empower his patients to take an active role in their own care and recovery. Therefore, Shan takes a holistic approach to his practice, considering all aspects of his patients' health and lifestyle, which encompasses the principles of Osteopathy.

When Shan is away from the clinic, you'll probably find him working out, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family.
